  In His great mercy and love, God provided His own payment for our sin. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross for us. Jesus’ death was an infinite death because He is the infinite God/man, paying our infinite sin debt, so that we would not have to pay it in hell for eternity (2 Corinthians ). This is the kind of book that will challenge your assumptions about the nature of the universe and our place in it. There are a lot of popular physics and cosmology books out there at the moment that claim to tackle questions about God, the soul and our human lives/5(8). God alone is eternal; we are not, nor do we become, eternal. We ought, therefore, to be more careful when we speak of heavenly glory in Christ.
